The lifting point can swivel 180° in the direction of the load. The product is precision forged from alloy steel and then quenched and tempered. Bolts are not supplied; the source recommends grade 10.9 or 12.9 bolts. Every product receives 100% magnaflux crack detection. Every product is proof tested at 2.5 times the Working Load Limit. A sample break test is conducted for each production lot. Sample fatigue testing is specified at 1.5 times the Working Load Limit for 20,000 cycles. The source states a 4:1 safety factor at any lifting angle and EN1677-1 manufacture/testing.
